What to Expect
Join a lean, senior team shipping large-scale, synchronized virtual concerts and interactive worlds. You'll set our Unreal Engine 5 multiplayer architecture, replication strategy, and performance budgets so millions can experience “the same show in many rooms.” We move fast, own outcomes, and ship to production.
What You'll Do
- Lead the UE5 client and dedicated-server stack; establish authoritative server patterns, RPC/replication models, and deterministic gameplay loops.
- Design sharding/instancing strategy and session orchestration for high CCU events.
- Partner with Live Ops to define perf targets, LODs, and replication budgets per scene.
- Build tooling for rapid “show” iteration (cinematic cues, camera paths, triggers).
- Mentor gameplay/networking engineers; code review for performance and correctness.
What You'll Bring
- Deep UE5 networking/replication expertise and C++ mastery.
- Experience with large multiplayer titles (authoritative server, RPCs, relevancy/NetDormancy).
- Pragmatic approach to scale via instancing rather than single-shard fantasies.
Encouragement
Even if you don’t check every box or have all the experience listed, we encourage you to apply if you feel you’d be up to the job and you’re willing to learn.
